1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Trueons Light Mask. Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
The Light Mask is a wearable, battery-powered LED light device that emits visible green light at 525 nm, orange light at 605 nm, red light at 630 nm and near-infrared light at 850 nm. It is designed for indoor consumer use by adults only.

2. Intended use
The Light Mask is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not intended for therapeutic use of any kind.

The Light Mask is a consumer LED light device for general personal use and comfort, intended for indoor use only by adults.

A USB power adapter is not included. Use only a CE-marked 5 V USB power source. Do not use fast chargers (9 V or 12 V).
5. Operating instructions
Before first use: Charge the controller fully using the supplied USB-C cable connected to a 5 V USB power source. Wipe the silicone surface of the mask with a soft, dry cloth before use.
Power and modes: All controls are on the handheld controller, not on the mask itself.
Power on/off: Press and hold the power button on the controller for 3 seconds.
Brightness: A short press of the power button cycles through three brightness levels — Low, Medium, High.
Light modes: Press the M (Mode) button to cycle through the three modes.
- Mode 1: Red + Near-Infrared (630 nm + 850 nm)
- Mode 2: Green (525 nm)
- Mode 3: Orange (605 nm)
Auto cycle: A single 20-minute session runs 10 min Red + NIR, then 5 min Green, then 5 min Orange. The controller ends the session automatically.
After use: Switch the device off and remove it carefully from your face. Wipe the silicone surface clean and store the mask and controller together in a cool, dry place.
6. Usage and charging
General usage guidelines
- A single session lasts 20 minutes (auto-cycle).
- 3 to 5 sessions per week is generally sufficient.
- Use on clean, dry skin only.
- Keep your eyes closed throughout the session.
- Discontinue use if you feel discomfort, irritation, or unusual warmth.
Charging
- Use only 5 V USB power sources.
- Do not use fast chargers (9 V or 12 V).
- Do not use the device while it is charging.
- Charge fully before first use.
Cleaning and storage
- Turn off the device before cleaning.
- Wipe the silicone surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use water, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners or sprays.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
7. Safety
Read all safety instructions before use. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product.
General safety
Use the device only as described in this manual. Do not use the product if it appears damaged, cracked, deformed, or functioning abnormally. Stop using immediately if you feel discomfort, irritation, dizziness, or any unusual reaction during use.
Child safety
This device is not for children under 18 years of age. Keep the product, controller, charging cable, and accessories out of reach of children and pets. The device is not a toy and must not be handled as one.
Optical safety
Keep your eyes closed throughout the session. The mask is designed to be worn directly on the face with the eyes closed, and physically covers the eye region. Do not stare directly into the LEDs at any time. Do not point the LEDs toward open eyes.
Electrical safety
Use only 5 V USB power sources. Do not use fast chargers (9 V or 12 V). Use only CE-marked, certified power adapters. Do not use the device while it is charging. Do not use with damaged cables, connectors, or power sources. Keep the USB-C port and cable free of dust, moisture, and debris.
Battery safety
This device contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery in the controller. Do not attempt to remove, open, replace, modify, or repair the battery. Do not expose the battery or device to fire, flames, direct sunlight, or temperatures above 40 °C during charging. Do not pierce, crush, or strike the device. Charge only on a stable, non-flammable surface. Stop charging immediately if the device becomes excessively hot or emits unusual smell or sound. Do not use the device if it has been dropped or impacted.
Thermal safety
If the device becomes uncomfortably hot, emits smoke, smells abnormal, or behaves unexpectedly, turn it off immediately and stop using it. Allow it to cool completely before handling. Do not cover the controller during use.
Use environment
Indoor use only. Do not use the device near water, bathtubs, sinks, saunas, pools, or other wet locations. Do not use with wet hands or on wet skin. Avoid humid environments, steam, or condensation. Keep the device away from dust, sand, or particles that may enter the controller or charging port.
Mechanical safety
Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, modify, or tamper with the device. Do not insert foreign objects into any openings or ports. Do not apply excessive pressure to the LEDs, mask, or controller. Avoid dropping or striking the device.
Skin and body precautions
Use the device only on clean, dry skin. Do not use on open wounds, rashes, infected or broken skin, recently shaved areas, irritated skin, or sensitive areas. Do not apply creams, serums or other topical products before use unless cleared with a healthcare professional. Stop using immediately if any redness, irritation, or discomfort occurs. Consult a healthcare professional if you are pregnant, have implanted medical devices, take photosensitising medication, or have health concerns.
Storage and transport
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and moisture. Do not leave the device in a parked car or other hot environments. Avoid dropping or impact during transport.
8. Regulatory & warranty
Conformity
This product complies with applicable EU legislation, including the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863, and the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988. The CE marking confirms this conformity. Full EU Declaration of Conformity available on request.
Disposal (WEEE)
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that this electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with unsorted household waste. It contains a battery that must not be removed by the user. Recycle the device according to local WEEE regulations. Contact your retailer or local authority for collection options.
Warranty
24-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, or for the minimum period required by local consumer protection laws if longer. Proof of purchase required. This warranty does not limit or replace any rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
